Refining the ecosystem, expanding accessories, and preparing for a complete market launch.
As we move into the final phase of development, we’re excited to share meaningful progress across both our devices and the broader Closer ecosystem.
While some of our testers are already putting the tripmeters through demanding real-world scenarios, including intensive use and competitive environments, we are simultaneously refining and expanding the Closer ecosystem. Our goal is clear: to arrive at launch with a system that is not only functional, but already mature, effective, and complete.
A Complete and Simplified Accessory Ecosystem
A key milestone we’ve reached is the development of a comprehensive range of accessories, designed to meet the needs of every type of crew.
To simplify the customer experience, we have also introduced carefully curated bundles. These kits allow customers to choose their preferred tripmeter and simply select the bundle that best suits their needs, without having to worry about choose all the necessary components individually. We’ve already taken care of that, and at a more advantageous price compared to purchasing each accessory separately.
All accessory kits are fully compatible with both the V1 and V2 tripmeters.
Protection, Transport, and Instant Access to Information
We’re also pleased to announce that both tripmeters will be delivered with a practical protective case. This case is designed not only to store the device but also to carry essential accessories safely during travel, preventing damage and reducing the risk of losing important components.
Inside the case, users will find a card featuring a QR code that provides instant access to the manuals section of our website, ensuring that all key information is always within easy reach.
New Accessories and Ongoing Development
Among the latest additions to our accessory lineup are three variants of the remote reset button for partial distance:
- A standard button
- A TPU version designed for application on flat surfaces, including vertical mounting
- A highly practical adapter that allows mounting the remote button directly on the turn signal or wiper stalk behind the steering wheel
We are also exploring additional solutions, such as a pedal-based reset system specifically designed for navigators.
Continuous Technical Improvements
At the same time, we continue to refine the tripmeters themselves with targeted technical improvements aimed at enhancing the user experience.
These include support for the Power Delivery (PD) charging standard and improved power management in situations involving voltage drops, for example, when the vehicle is turned off and restarted.
